What Is Emotion Release Therapy

Emotion Release Therapy is a holistic technique that identifies and releases negative emotions stored deep within the subconscious mind—sometimes as far back as the womb or even inherited through ancestral lines.


These trapped emotions can manifest as physical pain, emotional distress, or recurring life patterns that keep you stuck. Through this work, Cynthia St. Pierre helps you uncover the root causes of imbalance, guiding you toward emotional freedom and restored harmony.

What Are Trapped Emotions

Trapped emotions are residual energy forms created by past events, trauma, or emotional suppression. Because emotions are made of energy, when they remain unprocessed they can become lodged in the body, affecting organs, tissues, and overall wellness.

These trapped energies may lead to:

  • Chronic pain or physical tension

  • Emotional overwhelm or numbness

  • Relationship and career challenges

  • Self-limiting beliefs and cycles of fear

Each trapped emotion vibrates at its own frequency and can distort the body’s natural energy field. Releasing them restores balance, improves physical function, and reawakens emotional clarity.



What Causes Emotions to Become Trapped

The subconscious mind often stores intense feelings as a survival mechanism, keeping them hidden until it feels safe to process them.

Each session lasts 60–75 minutes and can clear between 20 and 60 emotions. You may choose to focus on a specific issue or allow divine guidance to direct the process.

This is not talk therapy; you are not required to revisit painful details. Instead, Cynthia facilitates the release while you remain relaxed and receptive.

You are welcome to ask questions throughout the session. Most clients describe feeling lighter, calmer, and more centered afterward.

As Cynthia helps you release emotions, your Root Chakra—and often the two lower chakras—begin to open naturally.

Using breath and intention, stagnant energy is drawn upward from the Root Chakra to the Heart Chakra, where it is surrendered back to the Divine.
